BARKTOBERFEST, a community event, will be held on the grounds of Belmont Baptist Church, 830 Monticello Avenue, on Saturday, October 4th from 2-4 in the afternoon.
- Guests from several local organizations who work with and for our four legged friends ( both feline and canine) will be on hand to share information and to meet and greet pets and their families.
- A Pet Blessing Ceremony will take place at 3 PM.
- There will be doggie treats, paw painting, pet photography, games, door prizes and more.
- A prize will be given for the best dressed dog.
- A collection bin will be available for anyone wanting to donate pet food and treats to help needy pets in our area.
This event is for you if you now have a dog, ever loved a dog, are looking to adopt a dog, or just want to meet some of your neighborhood dogs. Come join us for a howling good time. Please remember to keep your dogs under leash control for their safety during the event.
